Poured or machined,
urethane is Lawton Pattern's material of choice when building patterns
for creating molds for the metal casting process. Time after time,
urethane patterns have afforded Lawton Pattern the ability to maximize
the value to be derived from the pattern by allowing us to maintain
dimensional integrity and create longevity for the pattern. This
has resulted in Lawton Pattern being able to positively impact the
value stream of our customers.
The value not
only comes from the pattern itself, but also from the process used
to create the pattern. Lawton Pattern commits to a rigorous process
for the manufacture of our urethane patterns in which a series of
value added activities occur.
A
typical process for manufacturing urethane patterns is as follows:
- Model / Print
Creation
- Value Analysis
- Concurrent

- Construction

- Mahogany

- Pattern plug

- Digitizing
